Jim has 29 years’ experience in providing a broad range of audit, accounting, tax, and consulting services. He currently oversees the delivery of auditing and accounting services to clients in the manufacturing, real estate, heavy equipment dealerships, wholesale, coal, and related industries. Jim focuses on services to middle-market businesses and their owners. He also has experience in corporate finance issues, mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning and compensation issues.
Jim has taught accounting and finance at both at the graduate and undergraduate levels, having served as an adjunct professor of accounting in the MBA program at The West Virginia College of Graduate Studies (now part of Marshall University) and the University of Charleston.
In addition, he has spoken nationally, regionally and locally at civic and professional meetings on the subjects of accounting, taxation, technology, and accounting systems.
