DHG GIVES

At the heart of Dixon Hughes Goodman is our network of professionals who truly care about the communities in which we live and work. Our strong sense of place makes us who we are. We not only work in the communities we serve. We’re part of them. We’re involved in them. We give back.

While each of our offices contributes their time and resources in different ways such as a through United Way campaign or a Habitat for Humanity house construction, we come together once a year to support a firm-wide initiative to give back. This year, we are supporting food banks in our local communities. Food banks have an increased need for donations in the summer months because children who rely on school meals are out of school and because there are fewer donations from the general public due to travel and vacations. Our food drive, titled Count the Cans, will be held from June 11- June 22, 2012. During this time, we will collect monetary and non-perishable food donations to help support the people of our communities in a much needed way.
