DHG Partner Liz Gantnier to Serve as AICPA Quarterly Webcast Moderator

Charlotte, N.C., March 22, 2018 – Dixon Hughes Goodman, a U.S. top 20 public accounting and advisory firm, is pleased to announce that Liz Gantnier, an assurance partner in the firm’s Baltimore market, has been selected to serve as moderator of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ (AICPA) SEC Quarterly Update Webcast Series. Available to the AICPA’s 418,000 members, the series will showcase the profession’s leading experts and their views on hot topics within the industry.

Broadcast live from the AICPA headquarters in New York, the series will feature a two-hour webcast each quarter with topics relating to current events in the industry and SEC, PCAOB and FASB developments. In her role as moderator, Liz will lead the conversation by coming up with and directing noteworthy questions to three expert panelists.

“I am honored to have been selected for this role and to have the opportunity to moderate engaging conversations with my peers as we bring timely content to accountants across the country,” said Liz Gantnier. “I look forward to working with the AICPA and the quarterly panelists to select topics that will be informative and beneficial for practitioners across the industry.”

Liz has more than 30 years of experience in the accounting industry and has served on numerous committees and governing boards, including roles as the Chairperson of the Small Firm Task Force Committee of the Center for Audit Quality, member of the SEC Regulations Committee, member of the AICPA Peer Review Board, Chairperson of the Auditing Standards Board's Other Information Task Force, past chairman of the Maryland State Board of Public Accountancy, two-time past member of the Standing Advisory Group of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, and former member of the Center for Audit Quality’s Professional Practice Executive Committee.
